**Responsibilities**
- Operate weigh scale and accurately create scale tickets (including materials, customer, location, purchase order, etc.)
- Creating weekly/daily reports for office staff
- Daily communication with office regarding status of trucks in the quarry
- Communication with office regarding delivery changes/directions through phone calls and text
- Communication of delivery changes/directions to drivers at the scales or through phone calls and text
- Accepting cash/debit/credit transactions
- Conduct site surveillance from scale house and report issues arising from unauthorized personnel on or around the property
- Provide exceptional customer service to company drivers, third party brokers and customers
- Maintain a professional, orderly and clean working environment
- Housekeeping of exterior truck scale including daily sweeping, painting (as required), and reporting maintenance requirements to office (bollards, signage, etc.)
- Preferred but not required - Occasional operation of heavy equipment (rubber-tired loaders and skid steer loader) to load and off-load trucks
- Preferred but not required - Occasional operator of water truck within quarry for dust control
- Preferred but not required - Assist with daily maintenance of heavy equipment in quarry including lubrication (grease, oils, etc.)

Responsibilities/duties may change/evolve over time.

Seasonal

Start and finish times will adjust to seasonal work changes (May to September - Monday to Friday - 7:00 am to 5:00 pm).

Hours: 45-50 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
