**Aon is looking for a Project Manager, Aon Life Solutions**

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Solutions & Technology Group (STG) within Aon Reinsurance, in Canada (or work remotely). As a Project Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Managing Director, Consulting.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

**What the day will look like**
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
- Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
- Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.

**How this opportunity is different**

STG provides high efficiency computing software, consulting services as well as advisory services to financial intermediaries, primarily insurance companies. STG’s high-performance software platform, PathWise, provides companies with the ability to easily model financial obligations without involved coding and is run on Graphical Processing Units (GPU), making it the fastest, readily available software platform currently in use in the insurance industry. STG’s consulting services has focused primarily on actuarial analysis, reinsurance modeling and structing, reviews of hedging programs, and modeling of insurance liabilities and financial assets.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- 5+ years of project development experience as a scrum master on an Agile Team in financial industry
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Strong Knowledge of scrum agile frameworks principles and methods
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/insurance/computer science/engineering or a related field.
- Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
