**JOB OVERVIEW**

**Position Summary**

The Associate Title Search Clerk will be responsible for gathering data on properties, preparing them for review by Title Search Clerks for the purposes of conducting a preliminary title search. They will download and save the appropriate data into our custom database. They will work both individually, and as part of a close-knit team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Associate Title Search Clerk include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Reviewing documentation to ensure we are able to search title on properties;
- Gathering all pertinent data to complete a title search, including PIN parcels, documents, etc.;
- Entering relevant data into our custom software, and preparing cover sheet for Title Search Clerks;
- Occasionally assisting other departments;
- Managing and tracking files from receipt to delivery to Title Search Clerks;
- Being familiar and knowledgeable of our procedures and software. This will include duties such as becoming familiar with:

- our customized software;
- our data entry requirements

**Other**
- Other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Exemplary customer service skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines;
- Excellent eye for details;
- Proof reading skills are an asset;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
- Superb communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Key Relationships**

This position interfaces with internal and external contacts:

- Internal: All other Realtax Employees
- External: Representatives from 220 Municipalities

**Working Conditions**
- Work normal business hours
- Able to work on a computer for long periods of time;
- Required to work in a busy office environment which may result in constant interruptions;
- Required to have an excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
- Required to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stress.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
