Forklift Operator (FULL TIME)

Reporting to - Warehouse Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced, safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team Please note that applicants must have a current stand up reach and counterbalance operator's license.

The Forklift Operator will assist the Lead Hand in organizing and monitoring the receiving, picking/checking/shipping, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers, vendors, and/or the Manufacturing Department. The incumbent will ensure a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Duties Include:

- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of warehouse operations including Picking, Checking, Packing, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory systems.
- Oversee and participate in loading and unloading of shipments and communicate respective information to all internal departments/employees as required.
- Knowledge and focus on Health and Safety rules.
- RF Scanning

Qualifications:

- 1-2 Years experience as a forklift operator
- Solid communications skills
- Punctual
- Willing to learn and ambitious

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
