**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Educator to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. The Senior Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, including those with disabilities. This position requires a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and caregiving.

**Duties**
- Design and implement engaging educational programs that promote the development of children’s cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
- Provide individualized support to children with disabilities, ensuring their inclusion in all activities.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to meet their unique needs.
- Facilitate classroom activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Mentor and support junior educators and staff in best practices for early childhood education.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Must have Level-2 or Level-3 certification from Govt. of Alberta.
- Proven experience working with children in a classroom setting, particularly those with disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Compassionate caregiver with a genuine passion for educating young children.
- Familiarity with various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
