Welcome to the Extraordinary. The Hazelton Hotel Toronto is comprised of 77 suites in a limestone building that has been designed to set the standard for five-star hotels in Canada. Located in the heart of fashionable Yorkville, guests will be steps away from the luxury shops of Bloor Street, and many of the country’s finest art galleries, world-class museums and theatres. The oversized accommodations are designed by internationally renowned designers Yabu Pushelberg and feature the latest in technology and communication.
- Be thoroughly knowledgeable of the property’s features and events.
- Take hotel reservations, attaining all details and following the Forbes 5-Star Standards of Service.
- Complete and distribute the ROB Report, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain current knowledge of the hotel rate packages, specials, promotional and negotiated rates.
- Responsible for the telephone and internal communications needs of the hotel.
- Provide all necessary information to the guests and be knowledgeable of the most frequently asked questions.
- Answering all incoming calls and act on messages to all guests and colleagues.
- Ensure that the PBX equipment and all telephones are in working order.
- Manage all personalized wake-up calls for the in house-guests.
- Forward any information for guests via fax, mail, courier etc.
- Manage all DND-line requests for guests and functions.
- Assist Reservation Department duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Front Office / Hotel Experience a strong asset.
- Excellent command of the English language, secondary language a benefit.
- Must enjoy team work and multi-tasking environment.
- Should work very well under set timelines without compromising work results.
- Must be able to work flexible hours throughout the entire week and available evenings and weekends.
- Should be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Software.
- Must like interaction with people and the passion to deliver service.
- Must have a pleasant telephone-voice.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
