Hope B.C based Tree Care company seeking experienced Ground Crew member or a motivated individual willing to learn to join our team.

**Job description**
- Assist with the implementation of work zone safety procedures such as the placement of cones and signs, and the provision of flagging services
- Assist climber/aerial truck working on the ground and aloft
- Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and all other equipment safely
- Driving a 5 Speed Manual chipper truck to work sites, backing, dumping, and parking duties
- Learn and demonstrate high safety standards, sound tree risk assessment skills, equipment inspection skills, proper pruning and rigging skills, and implementation of tree felling procedures
- Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by Arborist

Qualifications:

- Interest in working outdoors year round performing manual labor in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
- Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hope, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: One location
