**BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Brake Press Operator is responsible for operating our fully automated presses, including making program changes in order to manufacture quality products. S/he maintains equipment including preventative and repairs, while preparing daily production sheets and quality control documents.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- One to two years related experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal forming or shaping
- Some experience of brake press operating and programming
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Experience operating forklift and overhead crane; certification an asset (will train if needed)
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Experience with plasma cutting and welding
- Mechanically inclined, to perform minor repairs or corrective actions
- Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
- High attention to detail
