**Overview**

We are looking for a skilled **Purchaser** to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Source and procure Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing products, materials, and equipment from Primary and secondary suppliers.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and compliance with industry standards.
- Negotiate contracts, special pricing agreements, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
- Monitor inventory levels, evaluate min/max levels and place orders to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to align procurement with business needs.
- Resolve issues related to delayed shipments, damaged goods, incorrect orders and RMA’s.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the electrical, plumbing, or HVAC industry.
- Strong knowledge of products and requirements of the MEP industry
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

**Preferred Skills**
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
- Familiarity with vendor management systems and inventory management software.
- Experience working with suppliers in the electrical, plumbing, or HVAC industry.
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
