We are seeking a Geologist Intern to join our Canada wide Mine Engineering & Stability group on a full time, temporary basis.

**What you can expect to do here**:

- Participate in design and reviews of resource geological models;
- Evaluate new technologies and modeling techniques;
- Analyze drill hole information and geological data to assist in selecting geological design parameters;
- Participate in technical studies on estimation of mineral resources;
- Assist in the preparation of bids for mining and geology projects;
- Collaborate in the building of resource models using specialized software such as Leapfrog (asset);
- Assist project managers as needed;Perform all other related tasks that may help in the realization of the project

**What you’ll bring to WSP**:

- Student in geology sciences or engineering;
- Rigor, sense of initiative, attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Experience with Datamine, Surpac, Minesight, Vulcan, and/or Leapfrog Geo is an asset;
- Experience in geology studies, geology fieldwork and/or mining operations is considered an asset;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;Flexible to travel.

**Compensation**

Expected Salary (all locations): $22/hr - $31.35/hr
