**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00/hour, depending on experience

**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Tenant Relations and Community Support**
- Serve as the primary contact for tenants, responding to inquiries, concerns, and conflicts in a timely and respectful manner.
- Maintain tenant records and manage the waitlist in accordance with the BC Tenancy Act.
- Support tenant well-being and quality of life through effective communication and connection to community resources.
- Manage and update the Trinity Lodge website and social media accounts to promote tenant engagement, community involvement, and general wellbeing.
- Encourage and support volunteer opportunities among tenants to foster a sense of community.

**Operational Oversight**
- Liaise with the contracted property management company to coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency services.
- Monitor unit and building condition through regular safety and maintenance inspections.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable tenancy regulations, fire and safety codes, and building standards.
- Create and maintain the facility’s Capital Plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
- Support the implementation of preventative maintenance programs aligned with the Capital Plan.

**Administration and Board Support**
- Attend and support regular board meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and reports.
- Maintain and organize all key operational records including tenant directories, contractor lists, policy documents, and building files.
- Identify and communicate risks or operational issues to the Board in a timely manner.
- Coordinate financial and administrative processes with the bookkeeper and accountant.
- Work with BC Housing to administer housing subsidies and ensure compliance with reporting and eligibility requirements.

**Funding and Grant Development**
- Identify, pursue, and manage relevant grant opportunities to support operations, facility improvements, and tenant-focused programs.
- Maintain up-to-date relationships with BC Housing and other stakeholders to remain informed of new funding programs and regulatory updates.
- Assist with required documentation and reporting for grant and funding compliance.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in property management, affordable housing, non-profit administration, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster trust and respectful relationships with tenants and community partners.
- Knowledge of the BC Tenancy Act and other provincial housing regulations (preferred).
- Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or program development (asset).
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with mínimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and access to transportation to attend meetings or respond to site needs.

**Working Conditions**
- 12-16 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling.
- A portion of the work can be done remotely, but regular on-site presence is expected (minimum 3 hours/day, 2-3 days/week recommended).
- Flexibility is required to address occasional urgent matters that may arise outside of scheduled hours.
- This is a contract employee position. Compensation, vacation time, and work-from-home expectations will be discussed during the hiring process.
