ABB Smart Buildings digitally transforms commercial, industrial and residential buildings for the highest comfort, efficiency, safety and security - enhancing quality of life in buildings of the future through safe, smart and sustainable electrification solutions, services and products. The Representative will offer service to customers and perform inside sales duties for the insourcing business, whilst ensuring quality of all processes.

**This position reports to**:
Local Division Customer Support

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all customer regular orders are verified and coded in the necessary fields.
- Interpret all special requirements and indicate them on order according to procedure.
- Prepare and clear all new product requests (ESRs) with the person responsible for the product line, before giving to the Order/Planning group (O/P).
- Assist customers with product information, for instance, crosses, validation of BOM & compatibility.
- Provide quotations and pricing to customers.
- Responsible for updating the reports, following up on all quotations, and logging upcoming projects.
- Maintain constant and direct communication with the customer so that orders come in with all the complete and correct data, and are processed quickly.
- Complete and return all orders to order planner in a timely manner.
- Ensure the processing of RMAs and PAR&Rs.
- Process the creation of new internal customers.
- Solve accounting issues; research and validate credits and deductions on invoices, as well as RMAs without paperwork.
- Solve freight issues; including ensuring correct documentation is provided for international shipments, communicating with transporters for required information
- Communicate with customers to advise them of any changes in scheduled promise dates, and answer delivery related requests, etc.
- Commit to continuous improvement and training.
- Actively participate in any health, safety and environment activity and program.
- Perform any other related tasks.

**Your background**:

- High school diploma.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar Inside Sales position.
- Experience in project management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and AS-400 & SAP* systems.
- Bilingualism is essential (French/English).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team work oriented.
- Autonomy and leadership for managing priorities in line with targeted goals.
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
