Reporting to the Service Manager, the role of the Parts Coordinator is to serve as the primary customer contact for parts and accessories.

To efficiently supply service technicians with required materials, and to assist the Service Manager in maintaining an accurate and cost-effective supply inventory. The role will also be to support the Service Manager by performing estimates, time entry, invoicing and scheduling.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Helps diagnose customer problems/needs and recommends appropriate part solution
- Order parts and helps ensure that all incoming parts are added to inventory and orders are complete and accounted for accurately
- Identify sourcing opportunities that will lower cost, enhance quality and/or improve inventory turns.
- Coordinate annual physical inventory with accounting department
- Prepares orders by monitoring and maintaining minimum inventory levels and anticipating seasonal and other high-demand supply needs
- Keep counters, bins, and storage areas clean and uncluttered; maintain a proper filing system; promptly remove boxes and packing; stock items in proper locations upon shipment arrival. Help maintain clean and tidy service area appearance
- Write work orders and estimates as needed.
- Enter technician time as requested
- Prepare warranty return shipments; locate failed parts, package and label for return; file correct paperwork and complete appropriate transactions.
- Provide materials to the service department in a timely fashion; communicate with technicians in an effort to have materials needed before service work starts and ensure materials are properly accounted for.
- Assist in service coordination and shipping/receiving as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
