**Bilingual (English & French) Deskside Technician - Onsite in Montreal**
We are looking for a **Bilingual Deskside Technician** (Fluent in English and French) to join our team in Montreal. This is an **onsite position** with a 5-day workweek at our office location.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **End-User Device Support**: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops (Windows and Mac), mobile devices, tablets, printers, and phones.
- **Deployment & Setup**: Handle the deployment of PCs, laptops, and other end-user devices.
- **ITSM Ticket Management**: Manage and resolve tickets using the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool, adhering to established procedures.
- **Hardware Diagnosis & Repair**: Perform technical diagnosis and repairs for defective hardware, ensuring the continuous functionality of end-user devices.
- **Software Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve software issues across various platforms, including Windows, macOS, and iOS.
- **Asset Management**: Maintain and track asset inventories using Merck-approved tools, ensuring proper lifecycle management.
- **Site-Specific Documentation**: Assist in maintaining documentation to support site-specific environments and improve the efficiency of IT support processes.
- **Smart Hands Support**: Provide coverage for DMO Smart Hands Infrastructure Support, including tasks related to wireless setup, network switches, firewalls, and critical infrastructure.
- **Regulatory Support**: Assist with IT support for regulatory inspections (e.g., FDA, EMA), including desktop support, wireless setups, and SharePoint/Teams.
- **OT System Support**: Provide smart hands-on support for OT systems located on the shop floor as needed.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
