**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians in the shop.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed to company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for safety and performance issues.
- Provide guidance on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Assist technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain an organized shop environment, including the proper use of hand tools and power tools.
- Manage inventory levels for parts and supplies necessary for automotive service.
- Foster a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and professional development.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues effectively.
- Train new staff on shop procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

**Skills**
- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Extensive mechanic experience with proficiency in automotive diagnostics.
- Solid mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, alignments, tire services, and general repairs.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the automotive industry.
- Experience as a service technician with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required in the shop environment.
- Sales experience is a plus for promoting services to customers.
