Community Living St. Catharines is currently recruiting for an experienced Supervisor for the CPS-centered based Day Program, and Supported Living/Homeshare Program. The role is to be responsible for oversight of daily operations, ensuring quality care and engaging programming for people supported to promote independence, dignity and the well-being for individuals who may have complex needs. To provide opportunities for center-based activities and promote community inclusion within the Day Program.
**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:
- Post-secondary education completed at a recognized university or college in related field - 3 years of full study (human or social services)
- Minimum of four (4) years of related experience in a leadership role n the social services sector (experience in Supported Living principles and centered based programming is an asset)
- Knowledge of principles, method, practices and Ontario legislation related to providing services to adults with an intellectual disability, and the Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008.
- Extensive knowledge of social service resources for persons who require additional supports in the community while demonstrating a commitment to inclusion and empowerment for people supported
- Experience/knowledge in developing, implementing dynamic and engaging programs. To evaluate daily programs to ensure optimum service/support delivery, and provide statistical reports as required
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with database (AIMS), MS Office, Excel, Word,
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead teams to achieve program objectives
- Exceptional organizational, oral and written communication skills and building collaborative relationships in support of the agency’s mandate
- Excellent interpersonal and supervisory/coaching skills, including high level of confidentiality
- Excellent problem-solving skills that require effective conflict resolution to support the agency goals
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with people supported, families, staff and external stakeholders
- Successful completion of a Police Check including a Vulnerable Police Check for our sector
- Valid G license, with reliable transportation required

**Hours of Work**: 40 hours per week, in-office, Monday - Friday
Participation required for on-call rotation
Schedule may need to be flexible at times.
