Reporting directly to ownership, this is a unique contract role to review, make recommendations and implement changes to our operations group, with the following specific responsibilities:

- Work with the operations team to review the process for optimizing inventory levels based on customer demand, and taking a hands-on approach to the on-going maintenance of minimum stock levels.
- Direct oversight of our warehouse staff in our North Vancouver and Abbotsford facilities, working with our local team leaders in each location to manage employee performance and warehouse capacity.
- Work with our offshore operations team to ensure that role expectations are clear, and our resources are being used in the most appropriate fashion.
- Oversee and participate in the generation, review and delivery of purchase orders to the company’s various vendors for all required products. Negotiate item pricing if possible, and assist in the search for new vendors to drive our overall costs down.
- Oversee the process to move inventory between our two Canadian warehouses, and to/from our USA subsidiary based on customer requirements.
- Oversee the on-going accuracy of inventory levels in our computer versus physical warehouses. Initiate and assist with the physical counting of inventory on a regular basis to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Assist with the maintenance of in-house price lists and vendor costs, ensuring we have up-to-date information in our computer system.
- Work with management to review and manage freight costs for all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Excellent computer skills, working with excel and large data sets
- Ability to work in a team-based atmosphere with stakeholders across multiple departments and locations, ideally with experience managing others.
- Quick and independent learner
- Comfortable in a small business environment where you will be required to 'wear many hats' at times to support the business and take a hands-on approach to the role.

This is a contract position that may be extended based on performance and company needs.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
