**Position Summary**
The Produce Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the **freshness, quality, and visual appeal** of our produce section. This role involves managing inventory, merchandising, training staff, and supporting day-to-day operations while delivering excellent service to customers.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the **appearance and cleanliness** of the produce section, ensuring all items are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively displayed.
- Assist customers with inquiries, offering **knowledgeable and friendly** recommendations on produce selections.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct **regular quality checks** to maintain freshness.
- Implement pricing and merchandising strategies to drive **sales and customer engagement**.
- **Train and support** new staff on produce handling, customer service standards, and store policies.
- Support hiring and onboarding efforts in collaboration with management.
- Maintain **accurate records** of inventory, sales, and other administrative data.
- Help achieve departmental goals related to **sales targets and customer satisfaction**.
**Requirements**:
- Strong communication skills; able to engage effectively with both customers and team members.
- Prior experience in **retail or produce management** is preferred.
- Familiarity with **Asian produce** is a strong asset.
- Understanding of merchandising, display techniques, and **pricing strategies**.
- Leadership abilities, especially in **training and supervising** staff.
- Strong **time management and organizational** skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate pricing and inventory calculations.
- Administrative experience in **record-keeping, budgeting, or bookkeeping** is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
