Job Description *

Coordinate movement of product from our warehouse doors to destination, by utilizing existing internal and external logistics systems and daily operation protocol. The position will provide support to Logistics, Material and Warehouse Managers, for distribution, forecasting, and customer support.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Plan and dispatch shipments for delivery of final product according to customer requirements in the most effective manner.
- Mapping/Routing of shipments for house trucks.
- Track and report shipping details and delivery status of all shipments.
- Proactively addressing and resolving shipping issues.
- Suggest shipping solutions supporting delivery of final product.
- Reporting to Logistics/Material Managers with discrepancies of warehouse inventory.
- Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages.
- Follow schedules of product distribution laid out by Material Manager.
- Work with carriers and third-party services to ensure delivery ETA’s and service levels are met.
- Notify Logistics/Material managers of shipment progress, anomalies, and revisions.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- 1-3 years previous experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field.
- Experienced with Truckload, LTL & Flatbeds, Intermodal Operations, and load plan optimization.
- Experienced with all types of transportation equipment specifications for Domestic ground deliveries.
- Familiar with US & Canadian Customs process.
- Knowledgeable with various custom documentation and shipments forms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 3rd Party TMS software.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- A team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- GTA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
