As a Student in Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health (IHOH) at Cenovus, you will gain hands-on experience in industrial hygiene practices, supporting the assessment and management of chemical, biological, and physical stressors in an industrial setting. This role provides a blend of office and field-based work, offering exposure to workplace hazard evaluation and mitigation in the oil and gas industry.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop, schedule, and perform industrial hygiene monitoring related to chemical, biological, and physical hazards.
- Assist in implementing surveillance programs for noise, air quality, and exposure to environmental stressors.
- Manage industrial hygiene processes, including data entry, equipment management, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Generate formal and informal technical reports on industrial hygiene assessments.
- Collaborate with IHOH team members and other stakeholders to support corporate safety program requirements.

**Who you are**
- Available to begin work in **May 2025**
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and industrial hygiene databases (e.g., CTS).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

**Education**
- Must be enrolled in an Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or related Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
- Preference will be given to master’s at an accredited post-secondary institution, but undergrad programs may also be considered.
- **New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.**
