**_Role Impact:_**

To provide dispatch communication to Security Guards to incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc., and log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions, and to direct back-up support as necessary

**_What you will deliver:_**
- Dispatch Security Guards to incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc.
- Remain completely knowledgeable of the geographic layout and all life support systems and procedures in effect for the property
- Maintain control of access to and from the property
- Log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions
- Direct back-up support as necessary
- Inform management of major incidents
- Assist in maintenance of Card Index System
- Maintain the Camera Surveillance System
- Conduct security equipment audits
- Be responsible for Fire Alarm Monitoring and Response
- Maintain key control, lost and found logs and emergency contact lists
- Perform other duties as assigned

**_What your strengths are:_**
- The ability to function in a fast-paced environment
- A strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
- An excellent communication skills, oral and written
- A current CPR/First Aid certification an asset

**_What you need to succeed:_**
- A valid provincial Security License (if required by law)
- A Security Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum one 1-2 years of security experience
- A working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act
