**PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR**

The Public Relations Coordinator at Powerline Plus Ltd. performs a variety of critical tasks and administrative functions for Powerline customer operations. The Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for tracking, monitoring and compiling data from internal and external sources. The Public Relations Coordinator will act as a company representative who monitors and tracks client relations. The Public Relations Coordinator participates actively and maintains ongoing relations with customers, external clients, Forepersons, Supervisors, Management and the Legal Department.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completion of a two (2) year program for public relations, marketing, business administration or other related discipline required
- Minimum two (2) years in a public relations or similar role with proven ability to manage and maintain relationships and content required
- Valid ‘G’ Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract required
- Have exceptional attention to detail with the ability to read, comprehend and utilize company policies and procedures when providing information to internal and external groups required
- Ability to gather, collect, assess and report critical information to management required
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse stressful situations while maintaining the highest level of professionalism required
- Must be able to work outdoors in adverse conditions such as: heat exposure, cold temperatures, rain, snow etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office required

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **PR Coordinator**_**role includes but not limited to the following duties**:_
- Investigate, respond to, and follow up with customer complaints, inquiries, concerns etc.
- This includes for civil, electrical and design departments
- Site visits required to investigate repair related requests
- Outage negotiations, planning and notification
- Working in conjunction with the Electrical Management team to schedule planned work with businesses/property managers
- Create and sometimes distribute notification letters to residential customers for planned outages
- Organizing and monitoring the “PLP Outages” calendar
- Upload all outage notifications into THESL file transfer website
- Track and Maintain all restoration efforts utilizing the “Clean up List”
- These items will come from customer complaints (that have been investigated and deemed repair is required), fault repairs (emergency crew sends weekly spreadsheet), City of TO requests (5-day repair deadline), or THESL requests (5-day repair deadline)
- Prepare construction notification for civil crews “week before letter” to be distributed by Foreman/crews during first date of mobilization. Also to be uploaded into TH File Transfer website.
- Track and respond to NCR’s initiated by COCO Admin
- As well assist with resolving restoration related incomplete work tickets in NCR database
- Assist design/engineering department in obtaining private property “sign offs” where new equipment installation is required
- Investigate and respond in a timely manner to all claims (often sent by THESL claims department before an actual statement of claim is filed in court)
- Monitor social media and update with relevant content as necessary
- Assist with as needed requests from the business development team relating to job tenders
