Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for providing on a project-specific basis design and technical support of service body assembly and electrical systems of varying size and complexity. Specifically, the Electrical Intern will be working on but not limited to:

- Design, troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems.
- Use systematic approach to create processes/documents for installation of electrical components
- Perform all aspects of technical work.
- Ensure all electrical aspects of the systems are sound and that designs meet all associated design criteria and specifications
- Review electrical work and contract requirements.
- Determine electrical requirements for new projects.

Qualifications that are considered assets:

- Enrolled in Electrical Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma
- Knowledge of mechanical systems design and electrical systems design
- Ability to effectively interact with peers, internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
- Effective two-way communication skills, including verbal as well as written forms
