Picker-packer/ Consolidator

We are now on a determined path to growth, leading to great opportunities for personal and career growth. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Picker-Packer/Consolidator.

The Picker and Packer selects products from shelves and prepares items for shipping. The Picker and Packer will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in a box or container following specific instructions and arrange boxes or containers on pallets. The Picker and Packer will check for any damage to items and confirm correct items and quantities are selected. The Consolidator will be responsible for the efficient use of warehouse space and ensuring the accuracy of product/part locations with the Epicor ERP system.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Will read the Order Sheet and Pick List correctly
- Utilizes the ERP system to identify the rack location of parts
- Ability to drive a forklift and counterbalance truck
- Produces order labels and ensures that all pallets and boxes are correctly labelled
- Will take photos of packed goods, for documentation purposes
- Maintain good housekeeping duties of the warehouse, throughout the day and at the shifts end
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
- Adheres to all health and safety regulations and related company policies
- Cross-trained to perform other functions such as, light assembly and other material management tasks, when no picker and packer duties are required
- Analyzing the current state of the products in our racking system
- Looking at items in the racking system that can be consolidated together, creating more space.
- Recording the consolidated products on a spreadsheet.
- Entering the location of the consolidated products into our ERP system.
- The analysis and reporting of products that have not moved in a long time or products that are out of specification or obsolete.
- Staring the write off process of products that may be damaged or obsolete
- Reporting on items that are in the aisles and finding alternate locations
- Perform all other assigned duties by the Warehouse Supervisor

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- High ability to analyze and problem solving
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Basic computer skills, with previous experience in using an ERP system (Epicor)
- Possessing a valid forklift and counterbalance truck license
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift to a maximum of 30 pounds
- Proficient in using hand tools
- Experience in the furniture industry is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a good command of English in reading and comprehending written and verbal instructions
- Team player with the ability to work well with others
- Reliable with good attendance record and focus on punctuality

**Working conditions**
- Must be comfortable working in a diverse environment

- Could be exposed to varied internal temperatures within the Plant due to external weather conditions

**Physical requirements**
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Long periods of standing, sitting, and walking

Pay: $18.60-$19.50 per hour
