Toronto, Canada Bisha Hotel - Events Full time

As an _Opening_ _Banquet Server, _you’ll be member of the wait staff for Sky Suite, our breathtaking banquet hall on the 43rd floor of Bisha Hotel, which hosts private and public events. These could include weddings, corporate functions, cocktail receptions and more.

**—O**_**pening shifts **_**require you to start your shift between **_**5am and 7am.—**_

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Open the shift, clear checklist
- Prepare the venue including tables, serving stations and/or buffet tables for service
- Serve food & beverage to guests at their tables or at serving stations
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the space by clearing plates, cutlery and glassware throughout the event
- Cleaning up after events; tear down and reset of venue
- Ability to handle a fast paced and demanding environment
- Understanding of food and beverage health and safety requirements
- Lift heavy trays, dishes, racks, furniture, etc.

**Banquet Server/Bartender Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- Smart Serve Certification for Alcohol (required)
- 1-2 years Server Experience (required)
- 1-2 years Banquets Server Experience (ideal)
- Food Handlers Certification (ideal)

**Banquet Server/Bartender Salary Expectations**:
$21 per hour. **No tips.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour
