Gimli Veterinary Services is a local woman-owned private practice located within just 5 minutes of the beautiful banks of Lake Winnipeg in Gimli Manitoba. We're looking for a full-time Client Services Representative to join our fun and engaging team of animal lovers.
**About the Role**
The Client Services Representative (CSR) act as the first and last contact that our clients and their pets have at our hospital. Our CSRs are responsible to perform a variety of clerical tasks related to animal care, and to provide support to our veterinary care team. Our CSRs are expected to triage symptoms to determine booking frequency, emergent cases, and more, they must be organized, polite, compassionate, and helpful to all clients and their pets always. Must be comfortable working as a team and communicating proficiently with various medical staff.
Full-time shift (40hours/week). **Must be available within business hours, (8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Saturday)** consistent schedule, published 1 month ahead of time via online scheduling platform. **MUST be available Saturdays.**

- Willingness to memorize / learn medical terminology and adhere to protocols
- Ability to take notes and retain information with accuracy
- A love for animals at all life stages
**Education/Experience**
- High school grade 12 diploma or its equivalent
- Previous customer service experience required
- Experience operating computers / printers required
- Experience in Veterinary Industry considered an advantage but not required
**Tasks to be completed include but are not limited to**:
**Training Process Includes**
- Online 'on-the job' training courses
- Job shadowing and observing others in the role (1-2 weeks)
- Memorization of medical terminology, circumstances that may be deemed as emergent, and scenario management.
- Reading of clinic policies, standard operating procedures
- 1 month review and knowledge assessment, 3 month review and knowledge assessment
- Manager available for any questions / guidance at all times during the training process
