Jameson Carpentry is a residential construction company specializing in Lake Muskoka island properties. We are a small, detail-focused team committed to delivering exceptional quality workmanship to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
- Follow safety protocols and regulations
- Provide support to the team as needed
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites as required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in carpentry
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of building materials and construction techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work on Lake Muskoka island properties
- Must live within 60km of job site. If you live further than 60km, $30 per day will be provided for gas and car expenses.

**Salary**: The salary range for this position is $30-$40/h, based on experience and skill level.

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
