INK Entertainment is looking for Audio Visual (AV) Technicians to join the team. The AV Technician will work closely with the Production Manager and will be responsible for setting up, operating and tear down of equipment used throughout the venue. They will also provide technical assistance and support throughout the venue.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate sound equipment.
- Set up and operate Lighting.
- Create and install custom lighting systems.
- Work with computer-controlled lighting systems.
- Monitor sound throughout the venue to ensure quality.
- Ensure equipment is installed according to the designated layout.
- Test and resolve equipment issues.
- Diagnose and correct media system problems.
- Send in equipment for repairs as needed.
- Clean equipment and store properly
- Maintain inventory of equipment.
- Perform other duties as needed.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Diploma or degree in a related field is an asset.
- Proven work experience, minimum 1 year, as a AV Technician or similar role.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Fast-paced environment.

**Note: salary will be dependent on overall experience.**
