As we grow, we’re looking for a **Finance Coordinator** to join our team and support the financial operations of Summit. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance or accounting career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.

**Position Overview**:
As the **Finance Coordinator**, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Summit’s finance team. You’ll assist with day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting, while supporting the team in meeting key organizational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Financial Operations**: Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice management, payment processing, and tracking receivables.
- ** Bookkeeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including reconciliations of accounts and credit card transactions.
- ** Financial Reporting**: Prepare and deliver regular financial reports to support decision-making across the company.
- ** Budget Support**: Assist with preparing budgets and forecasts by gathering and organizing data from different teams.
- ** Compliance Support**: Help ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures and maintain documentation for audits or reviews.
- ** Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments to support financial processes and provide information as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role (internships or co-op experience welcome).
- Proficiency in financial software (experience with QuickBooks or similar tools is an asset).
- Strong G-Suite skills and ability to organize and analyze data.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills.
- Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry is an asset but not required.

**Compensation for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.**
