Sheet Metal Worker

A.K. & Company (Kenora) Ltd. is a leading mechanical contractor and service maintenance provider. We are seeking an experienced sheet metal worker to join our team of professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installing HVAC systems for various projects in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Communicating with other trades and construction personnel to ensure proper coordination of work
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Comply with all local and national building codes and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and vehicles

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years of sheet metal installation experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong communication skills and teamwork
- Experience in commercial installation is considered an asset
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, piping, and components
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and knowledge of safety protocols
- Preparing daily safety reports and toolbox talks
- Ability to lift and move 30-50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel and work in the areas surrounding Kenora is required

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
