The platform enables enhanced long-term planning, innovative tracking and management, and disruption management decision support to help carriers manage crew schedules and keep crew members informed with real-time data. In this role you will be responsible for operating in lockstep with product management team to create a clear strategic direction to build needs for products in your team's portfolio. You will work with the team and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of products, features and functionality. Your priority will be seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders like Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers. Are you ready to: - Demonstrate excelling business acumen, know latest industry trends and you are looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape. - Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirement gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback. - Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products. - Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product. - Work with Sr Product Managers, Internal/External Customers and Stakeholders. Routinely collaborates with UX in design decisions as applicable. - Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams. - Own the releases and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs ( minimum viable product ) and quarterly releases. - Own and manage the backlog, continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready. - Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs. - Demonstrate strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity. - Engage frequently with the development teams, facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation, contributes to design activities and decisions. - Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit. - Partners with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure healthy development process. - Mentors junior team members. - Bachelor's Degree in related field. - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field preferred - Previous crew management experience. - Good knowledge and experience with SAFe, Agile methodologies and best practices. Desired Skills - Excellent problem solving/analytical abilities. - Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. - Experience with Rally or similar tools. - Experience with industry standard design principles, frameworks and patterns. - Good in handling conflicts. - Willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
