We're now searching for a an Editorial Growth Manager as our team continues to grow. As the Editorial Growth Manager, your responsibility is to drive the growth of SEO news traffic through management of new hires and recruitment activities. This position requires an analytical thinker with a growth minded attitude. Passion in the entertainment space, particularly around movies, television, and comic books is a plus.

We are looking for someone with experience managing a team of SEO writers and you will be actively recruiting, training, and managing a growing team of writers.

**Key Duties**
- Oversee and manage freshly recruited SEO news writers and their content
- Develop a strategy to maximize traffic of new hires
- Ensure new hire quotas are met and best practices followed
- Teach new writers how and what type of articles to pitch, and approve their pitches
- Understand traffic output of new SEO hires and provide reports and spreadsheets as needed to bring clarity over article performance
- Work with our HR team to create & post job adverts and manage recruitment of freelance writers, descriptions for new freelance writing positions and interview and recruit new writers
- Train and onboard new freelance writers on our editorial best practices. Training includes:

- SEO methodology, interpreting Google Console & Analytics, journalism best practices, editorial policies, and other areas that their job requires.
- Publish and share content to social media channels as needed
- Maintain editorial spreadsheets
- Be an active team player on Slack and communication channels

**Essential Skills & Requirements**
- Experience managing a team of writers
- Strong SEO knowledge
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Proactive and able to work semi-independently
- Good organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Positive goal-oriented attitude
- Degree in Business Administration, Journalism, or related field
