The Driving Force Group of Companies is currently looking for a Permanent Full-Time Marketing and Communications Coordinator working from our corporate location in Edmonton. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator assists with marketing and communication activities for all companies ensuring company and department goals are met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gather and analyze data to inform marketing and communications decisions.
- Oversee our customer feedback program.
- Assist in creation and distribution of engaging employee communication, including e-newsletter, employee magazine, Intranet and other mediums.
- Assist in creation ad distribution of customer communication in various mediums.
- Collaborate with branches and companies to help assess suitable sponsorship opportunities and identify potential vendor relationships.
- Support event planning.
- Help administer community investment programs and provide regular reporting of impact.
- Assist staff to create and manage outreach efforts at special events, trade shows and other public-facing initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in marketing or communications is an asset.
- Strong writing abilities
- Ability to multi-task competing priorities.
- Experience in event planning & coordination is an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Ability to evaluate all aspects of a project and visualize how it aligns with the company’s values
- Experience working within a budget
- Shows initiative
- Captivating storytelling that engages readers
- Strong writing skills
- Planning and organization skills
- Ability to foster a cooperative environment
- Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time
