**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed by all kitchen personnel.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines.
- Leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Bartending skills are a plus but not required.

- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
