**HRIS Coordinator**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRIS, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, assist with benefit and pension administration, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.
**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Post-Secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in HRIS, data entry and benefits and pension administration preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle competing priorities, multiple demands and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes and workflows.
- Exemplary verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and strong analytical skills.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail and excellent customer service delivery.
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and groups both within and outside the Board.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint and Adobe.
- Experience navigating K212 HR and Payroll or HRIS platform
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Maintain accurate employee data, including but not limited to, entering new staff, transfers, salary changes, assignment changes, leave of absences, terminations and employment status changes.
- Prepare, file, and maintain documents in SharePoint, ensuring they are organized, accessible and up to date.
- Allocate and monitor sick leave and vacation entitlements.
- Set up and maintain data on employee benefit coverage.
- Review and monitor employee groups as required.
- Liaise with Employee Services and Payroll staff for problem solving, efficiencies and develop coordinated processes.
- Liaise with pension plan provider and employees regarding eligibility and registration, leave periods and associated cost and service, payment collection for purchased leaves, status changes, eligibility for waivers.
- Advise employees on benefit eligibility and costing
**Salary range: $68,764 - $80,415**.**Includes a competitive benefits plan through a provincial benefits trust plan (extended health, dental, life insurance, AD&D) paid vacation and enrolment in OMERS pension plan. This is a full-time permanent, 12 month 35-hour-per-week position and is part of the Board's union-exempt Administrative Management Group.
