Community Living North Halton’s Lunchbox Café and Catering in Milton is looking for someone who is self-motivated, confident and has what it takes to multitask as a Part Time Assistant Cook Position is for day shift hours. Café hours are Monday-Friday.

We are available for catering 7 days/week except holidays.

Hours of Work
Min 30 hrs. per week. Max 40 hrs. per week.
Day Shift
Weekend Availability if catering is required

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.95-$20.95 per hour

**What you will do**
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and Café area (i.e. dishes, tables, floors)
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch orders
- Prepare and cook catering orders. Delivering orders within our delivery radius using our company van.
- Work on multiple orders at once, getting the out in a timely manner
- Follow tasks and instructions in a timely and safe manner.
- Perform duties within the framework of business standards and procedures defined by Management as well as Halton Health Department
- Demonstrate oral and written communication, productivity, sense of urgency, good judgement, problem solving and punctuality
- Maintain a positive and professional approach to tasks, including attitude towards other Café staff and volunteers(adults with developmental disabilities) and customers
- Use kitchen equipment in proper manner and maintain it.
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Min 1 year experience working/supervising in a commercial kitchen (preferred)
- Catering experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- G2/G License

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.95-$20.95 per hour
