Cycle Counter

We at Leggett & Platt Automotive (LPA) are looking for a **Cycle Counter **to join our growing Automotive Team at our facility in **Windsor, ON**. We are a multi-billion-dollar globally diversified company that designs and manufactures various engineered components and products. Our growing automotive business unit, which exceeds one billion dollars in sales, comprises four main product segments with operations on three continents. Our customers include OEM and Tier 1 automotive companies.

**What will you be doing?**
- Support cycle counting or inventory activities.
- Support “Hot count” requirements when a specific component is found to be in short supply or missing
- Manage Service Inventory both on and off site
- Collection of necessary components for Service orders as needed
- Responsible for periodic Inventory counts of Off-site warehouses
- Participation in Physical Inventory counts
- Review, analyze, investigate, and resolve discrepancies found
- Perform Dock Audits as needed to verify pack quantities from suppliers
- Help to identify problematic parts or vendors for further investigation
- Weekly packaging counts with necessary inventory adjustments
- Weekly counts for regular production components (wire, grease, flexmats, etc.)
- Fill in as the backup for Shipping Receiving Clerk when necessary (Purchase Order, Scrap, etc.)
- Fulfill assigned primary, secondary, and/or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as required on occasion by the business

**We’re looking for someone with**:

- Highschool Diploma
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Management/Logistics role is an asset
- Forklift License (or the ability to train)
- Weight Scale operation
- Very good command in MS Office and ERP systems usage
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Mathematical / analytical skills an asset
