Uxbridge, Canada Wooden Sticks Golf Club Full time

Located in the town of Uxbridge, Ontario, Wooden Sticks golf course was designed by architect Ron Garl and features holes inspired by some of the most famous golf holes from around the world.

Wooden Sticks is more than simply a place to golf. It is a tribute to the rich history and grand traditions of this great game. In designing Wooden Sticks, architect Mr. Ron Garl and his team worked diligently to ensure that every aspect of your golf experience reflects the spirit found in some of today’s most famous golf holes. In fact, **12 of the 18 holes at Wooden Sticks were each inspired by a different famous golf hole from the PGA**.

Together with the balance of the course, they present a challenging and unforgettable golf experience. During your round, you will envision yourself playing off a road in Scotland, across a famous creek in Georgia, onto an island in Florida, and through pine forests in New Jersey.

Reporting directly to the Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, the Horticulturist is primarily responsible for the planting, growing and maintenance of all flowers, shrubs, small trees and clubhouse lawns on the property. Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

- Design and select plant materials for ornamental use on and around the golf course, clubhouse and other buildings
- Trim and prune hedges and shrubbery
- Ensure the clubhouse grounds are tidy of debris before guests arrive to the property, and throughout the day as necessary

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in horticulture or gardening position
- Experience operating outdoor small landscape equipment including utility vehicles and small landscape equipment would be beneficial
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

This position is seasonal from May-October.

This is a part-time position 3 - 5 days a week and 5 hour days.

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
