We’re looking for an individual who is already in the mortgage industry who would like the steadiness of regular hours and pay (PLUS commissions) JCMortgages.ca is a unique, full-service mortgage brokerage located in Kitchener, ON. **Who YOU Are and What You Have to Offer**:

- Experience as a mortgage agent and/or mortgage underwriter
- Drive to help clients with goals, close transactions and succeed in your career
- Manage and nurture client, lender, lawyer, (etc.) relationships
- Strong attention to detail when verifying or reviewing information
- Experience using Filogix and accurately inputting and reviewing information
- Experience using Velocity is considered an asset**:

- Deep understanding of the mortgage process and types of mortgage products
- Knowledge of lender requirements and system portals
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize multiple files at once to meet deadlines
- Confidence with document fulfillment, ordering appraisals and updating client profiles
- Comfortable using CRMs and open to learn new skills regarding automated workflows

**Important Details About this Position**:

- Full-time hours (40/week)
- BASE SALARY: $45,000 per year
- COMMISSIONS: Based on volume of funded mortgage transactions and is set up in a tiered structure which allows employee to earn $100,000+ per year including their base salary
- Working outside of regular hours for JC Events is occasionally required (annual client appreciation event)
- Volunteering within the community with JC Staff is required throughout the year (we volunteer and host a soup kitchen approximately 4 times per year)
