**Supply Chain Coordinator**

Silk & Snow is a Toronto-based, digitally native business that offers thoughtfully designed sleep essentials with a frictionless customer experience. We are a small and highly collaborative team, looking to add a resourceful and critical minded individual to fill the role of Supply Chain Coordinator. You are team-oriented, organized, collaborative, and eager to take on the different challenges that come with working for an energetic start-up.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain strong relationship with suppliers to ensure purchase orders are delivered to satisfaction
- Plan and coordinate all overseas/domestic shipment with multiple freight forwarders, ensuring on-time delivery
- Ensure that all custom documents are submitted for custom clearance
- Analyse freight rates and research shipping routes and recommend most cost effective logistics solutions
- Review commercial invoice and purchase orders to ensure price and quantity accuracy
- Purchase Order creation, ensuring entries are accurate and coordinating the submission of the PO based on management
- Effectively monitor and track the flow of goods during the shipping process
- Prepare periodical reports for management to evaluate the overall shipping process
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in supply chain management or logistics or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Organized with high attention to detail
