Prairie Creek Energy Services Ltd is looking for 2 reliable Equipment Operators to join our team. Responsibilities include performing routine equipment checks, following strict safety regulations and guidelines and operating mechanical or computer-operated equipment.

To be successful as an equipment operation, you should consistently follow health and safety regulations and able to take instruction from superiors. Outstanding equipment should display great hand and foot coordination and always be thinking of ways to improve efficiency.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for running and controlling the equipment according to proper procedures
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with the company health and safety regulations
- Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on all equipment
- Promptly reporting all faults to the supervisor/foreman
- Ensuring sites and kept clean and safe
- Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required
- Performing routine inspections of equipment as required by law and health and safety
- Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
- Ensuring equipment is properly positioned before turning it on and off or loading and unloading it
- Perform minor repairs to equipment
- Willing to do other tasks, outside of equipment operation in between projects

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma
- 2-5 years experience operating equipment
- Relevant license and safety certification is preferred
- Experience with Air Curtain Burner, Meri-Crushers, CLAAS and FENDT Tractors is preferred but will train
- Forklift, Backhoe, Excavator Experience is an asset
- Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol testing for sites access
- Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Good leadership and training skills
- Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, products, or operations issues

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding position for long periods of time
- Working environment is mostly outdoor in all weather conditions
- Availability to work out of town on projects, weekend, and overtime work
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs.

**Salary**: $35.00-$43.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Spruce Grove, AB T7X 0G6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- equipment operation: 3 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
