Tutor/educator

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to different learning styles.
- English and French.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
- Provide tutoring and additional support to students who require extra assistance in their studies.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and address any concerns.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, with a strong background in curriculum development.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for engaging students effectively.
- Experience working with children in various settings, including early childhood education or special education environments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to plan lessons that are creative, informative, and tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
- A background in adult education or childcare is a plus, as well as experience in preschool settings or working with students of varying ages.
