**Who are we?**

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest-growing kids coding franchise. At our center, kids learn to code while building their own video games. They gain problem-solving, critical thinking, and STEM skills in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt.

**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for a **Lead Coding Instructor (Lead Code Sensei)** / **Asst. Manager **to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our senseis are the crucial part of our Code Ninjas center and they oversee the day-to-day coaching and student engagement.

**Coding Instructor (Code Sensei) Responsibilities include**:

- Teach computer coding, robotics, STEM skills to kids
- Innovate and work on projects related to coding and robotics
- Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
- Work with children to determine skill sets
- Follow opening/closing duties daily
- Clean dojo throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards
- Report to the management team with respect to student progress, day’s activities, and productivity in the dojo.
- Oversee daily operations of the center.

**Assistant Manager Responsibilities include**:

- Follow up on leads, schedule center tours, and help families register.
- Engage with children and families in the center.
- Ensure that parents understand how their child is learning and progressing.
- Guide kids through creative thinking and problem solving
- Supervise a team of instructors (Code Senseis).
- Ensure the center is a fun and safe learning environment for our students.
- Uphold corporate standards with respect to center cleanliness & operational standards.
- Help with marketing and sales of programs
- Update social media as needed
- Follow opening/closing duties daily
- Ability to think on the fly and be perceptive to center dynamics.
- Report regularly with owners/ Center Director.

**Qualifications**:

- Working experience with children ages 5 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
- Enrolled in or completed Computer Science, mathematics, or engineering degree.
- Strong communication skills
- Works well with others; collaborates
- Strong knowledge in coding and technology
- Keen interest or experience in Robotics and learning new technologies
- Must be fun to work with and like working in fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently
- Be excited to learn about new technology and services
- Self-motivated to help students learn

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
