Snow Shoveler

**Job Overview**

We are seeking reliable and hardworking **Snow Shoveler** to join our team for the winter season. This role is essential in ensuring clear, safe, and accessible sidewalks for residential, commercial, and municipal properties during snow events.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Shovel snow from sidewalks, walkways, and other designated areas.
- Maintain equipment and tools (e.g., shovels, spreaders) in good working condition.
- Respond promptly to snow events, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure both personal and public safety while working.

**Qualifications**
- No prior experience is required, but experience in snow removal or outdoor labor is an asset.
- Physically fit and able to perform labor-intensive tasks in cold and harsh weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work on short notice.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, hazard-free walkways.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various tools and equipment

**Preferred Skills**
- Knowledge of safe snow shoveling practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Driver’s License is an asset.

**Work Schedule**
- This is an **on-call position**, dependent on weather conditions.
- Shifts may occur early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays during snow events.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various tools and equipment is an asset
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively id an asset
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough snow removal without damaging property
- Willingness to work in cold weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules based on snowfall events

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
