**On-Site Coordinator - Dignitary Escort Services (YYZ Airport)**
**Location**: Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Toronto, Ontario **Reports to**: Director of Operations (Montreal, Opsis) **Close Collaboration with**: On-Site Supervisors, HR/Admin Team (Montreal)
The On-Site Coordinator is the central operational point for Opsis at YYZ Airport. This role ensures the planning, execution, and oversight of dignitary escort services, while also managing the administrative and regulatory aspects related to Restricted Area Identity Cards (RAIC/CIZR) in collaboration with our Montreal head office.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**On-Site Operational Management**:
- Plan and coordinate dignitary escort services based on flight schedules and specific requirements.
- Ensure optimal availability and assignment of supervisors and escorts for each mission.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, airport authorities, and Opsis teams.
- Resolve unforeseen operational issues in real-time.
- Ensure adherence to Opsis' service standards and airport security protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities and incidents.
**On-Site Personnel Management**:
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site supervisors and escorts.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training for on-site staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage on-site staff schedules and work hours.
**RAIC/CIZR and Regulatory Compliance (in liaison with Montreal)**:
- Be the first point of contact on-site for all RAIC/CIZR-related inquiries.
- Perform a preliminary verification of the completeness and accuracy of RAIC/CIZR files before transmitting them to the administrative department in Montreal.
- Promptly inform supervisors and employees of RAIC/CIZR statuses and renewal requirements.
- Ensure all on-site personnel hold the required accreditations before operating.
- Collaborate with YYZ airport authorities on any RAIC/CIZR or compliance matters.
**Administration and Reporting**:
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports to the operations directorate.
- Manage on-site staff timesheets and expenses.
- Maintain an inventory of on-site equipment and materials.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a coordination or supervisory role within an airport environment or high-end service industry.
- Excellent knowledge of airport operations and security protocols, ideally at YYZ.
- Familiarity with Transport Canada's RAIC requirements is a significant asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bilingualism (French and English) is highly desirable; English is essential.
- Must possess (or be able to obtain) a valid RAIC for YYZ Airport.
- Flexible availability (shift work, evenings, weekends, holidays).
