Summerhill is dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing public engagement and market transformation programs that lead to measurable improvements in energy savings.
We seek outgoing, energetic, and dynamic individuals to join our team as Event Representatives for our latest events in Moncton, New Brunswick. The NB Power In-store rebates (from October 22 to December 6) will be promoted in-store at select retailers across the province. The events will take place on various weekends in the campaign period to promote the campaign.
Summerhill Group delivers NB Power's In-Store Rebates Program and aims to educate customers and retailers about energy efficiency opportunities, encourage customers to take action by purchasing and installing energy-efficient products, increase demand for energy-efficient products, and increase the availability of energy-efficient products at retailers.**Responsibilities**:_
- Educate customers on energy efficiency choices and related product knowledge (training will be provided)
- Facilitate events at store level
- Set up and wrap up event/area booth
- Track program participation, collect customer information electronically and submit all reporting to the appropriate lead in a timely fashion
- Receive event materials
- Provide excellent customer service
- **Attend paid training (mandatory)**
- **Job Qualifications/ Requirements**_
- Written skills: ability to log information accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable talking to new people and adjusting communication style as needed
- Able to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift (typically 6 hours)
- Access to a computer with internet
- Friendly and professional manner and appearance
- CSA footwear is required for all Home Depot locations
- **Working Conditions**_
- Move equipment and materials weighing up to 20lbs, during the set up and takedown of the event.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift
- **Shift Times**_
9:30-10am Set-up (30 Min)
10 am-3 pm Event (5 Hours)
3:00-3:15 pm Take-down (15 Min)
Reporting at home after each shift (15 Min)
