**The Opportunity**

Our Finance Transformation group in Montreal is looking for a highly motivated and successful Manager to lead the delivery of financial and non-financial information services through the preparation, review, diagnosis and or implementation of systems and/or procedures. You will be involved in a variety of assignments to support our clients in integrating sustainability into their strategy, governance structure (integration into audit committees, information production cycle) and the transformation of their information and management systems.

Our teams of professionals help our clients (companies and institutional investors) become resilient by effectively identifying, managing and disclosing the risks and opportunities related to sustainability factors.

As a Manager you will be fully integrated into KPMG's Finance Function Transformation teams to support our clients in their sustainability efforts.

You will also contribute to the establishment of our informed viewpoint for our clients' finance departments' consideration of the new ISSB, TCFD, TFND, SEC disclosure standards related to climate and ESG factors.

- Help our clients define and implement a governance structure and information management processes that integrate ESG factors.
- Conduct board/executive outreach programs related to corporate social responsibility strategy and sustainability.
- Perform financial and non-financial information needs assessments.
- Perform ESG due diligence on various types of transactions.
- Participate in ESG financial quantification programs and measure the impact on enterprise value.
- Assist clients in integrating ESG criteria into the investment lifecycle.

What you bring to this role:

- At least five years of professional leadership experience in sustainability or a similar field in a reputable organization.
- In-depth knowledge of the ESG and sustainable finance context.
- Strong knowledge of key ESG concepts and frameworks.
- Ability to combine quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve complex problems.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high quality work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet commitments on time.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting option or other accounting background. Accounting designation required (CPA, CA or CMA or CPA, CGA)
- Strong knowledge of sustainable finance and the integration of ESG factors into lending, underwriting or investment methodologies, ideally based on industry experience.
- Experience assessing climate change risks and opportunities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to present complex messages and recommendations in concise proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
