Machine Loader

**Forklift Operator Responsibilities**:

- Follow all Great White Foams policies and procedures.
- Work safely and comply with all Great White Foams safety prevention guidelines,policies, and procedures.
- Understand and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Manage personal performance to remain injury-free.
- Demonstrate flexibility/adaptability in the work and work schedule in support of business needs.
- Basic knowledge of computers and inventory management. Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
- Maintaining forklifts and batteries
- Cleaning up debris on warehouse floor
- Sorting inventory and re-organizing loose or stray products
- Completing inventory and cycle counts to ensure good inventory controls are maintained.
- Participation in toolbox talks.
- Good judgement, organized with attention to detail.
- Ensure materials are loaded into machine properly and continuously, operating machinery, resolving line stoppages, ensuring the quality of the finished product.
- Document production numbers, items contributing to down time.
- Document quality checks at regular intervals.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing team environment.
- Experience using a tape measure and aligning cutting location to produce accurate results

**Qualifications**:

- Current forklift operation certificate (required).
- Experience with a stand-up reach truck is essential.
- 3-5 years experience as a reach truck operator
- Previous Manufacturing industry experience is an asset
- Proven Ability to take initiative and direction
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Basic understanding and use of computer systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced, hot environment
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs
- Reliable, good work ethic, and positive attitude
