**Due to growth, Payzant Home Hardware is looking to bring add an exceptional Dispatcher to our team. We are looking for someone who is customer-oriented, who can help deliver the most efficient and effective service to our customers. If you are a self-motivated individual with a great work ethic and engaging personality, we'd love to hear from you**:
**Responsibilities**:
**- ** Work in compliance with Safety laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, fix/report all accidents and safety hazards observed. Take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.**
- ** Answer phone in a polite and timely manner. Including customer calls, employee calls, etc.**
- ** Effective use of all technology related to shipping, including but not limited to: DDMS, Microsoft Outlook, Motive, etc.**
- ** Plan and coordinate daily shipment schedule in the most effective manner. Pre-plan upcoming shipments within reason.**
- ** Collaborate with colleagues to find solutions to issues that may arise with delays, damaged product or backordered items. This includes, communicating when products have been short picked, so they can communicate with sales to plan substitution. As well as, notifying purchasing when materials are low.**
- ** Determine appropriate methods of shipment and assist in preparing bills, invoices, and other shipping documents.**
- ** Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate parties, proactively addressing problems, and suggesting solutions.**
- ** Respond to queries related to products and deliveries.**
- ** Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency.**
- ** Supervise the route and status of Payzant units to prioritize, adjust and optimize their daily schedule.**
- ** Maintain and update required documentation.**
- ** Provide reports to management as required.**
- ** Setup and dispatch pick orders in sequence for pickers to pick.**
- ** Handle customer pick-ups within established time-frames and schedule accordingly.**
- ** Other duties assigned by management.**:** Requirements**:

- ** Outgoing personality with exceptional customer service skills.**
- ** Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.**
- ** Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.**
- ** Problem solver who can work with mínimal supervision.**
- ** Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.**
- ** Knowledge of lumber and building materials, and the construction process is an asset.**
