We are a Calgary based fast growing reputable high end kitchen countertop (GRANITE, CORIAN & QUARTZ) manufacturer, where quality work, attention to detail and customer service are top priorities. We are expanding and looking for a results-oriented, self-motivated and dynamic individual to join our fast growing company

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years previous experience working in countertop manufacturing; construction, woodwork shop or tile installation company.

Description of job duties:
Stone Polishing - processing slabs of granite, quartz, and marble using necessary hand tools, bridge saw, electric and pneumatic tools

Inspecting slabs to identify the possible problems or defects

Reading job plans, instructions for kitchen countertops, vanity tops, etc.

Repairing chips and re-finish edges, if required

Installing the finished job

Getting final job site measurements and preparing templates

Basic maintaining, adjusting, testing, cleaning of production equipment, and of work area

Working safely and responsibly

All other duties assigned

Qualifications required:
5 years previous fabrication/stone experience

Good work ethic

Ability to communicate effectively w/co-workers

Basic math skills and accuracy in reading a tape measure

General carpentry knowledge/experience

Reliable transportation

Physical requirements:
Constant standing, bending, stooping, crouching, reaching

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$29.50 per hour
